ARROGANT, INTRANSIGENT, TYRANNICAL REGIMES

Undoubtedly, the Syrian regime has become increasingly, offensively and tyrannically notorious. The Syrian Government has joined the cruel band of reckless regimes! The glaring intransigence of the government in the face of global appeals, leaves very much to be desired. The United Nations should no longer watch the Syrian regime as the savage killings continue! The Syrian regime is no longer fit for purpose because it has chosen to massacre its own citizens. Peace initiatives have failed. Cease fire has not been properly observed. The latest savagery in Houla should provoke UN Decisive action. The observer status of UN Forces calls for urgent review.32 Children killed in cold blood among a minimum of 90! Shedding of innocent blood is the final straw. Innocent blood cry out aloud for justice and judgment! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!This regime must go now!The United Nations Security Council should take appropriate action now in addition to sanctions! There is urgent need for the cessation of all hostilities. There should be urgent political reforms. President Bashar al-Assad must resign and go, because he is cruel, brutal and heartless!. Terrorists must be excluded. Civil War could be disastrous and must be avoided! May God have mercy on Syria.

GETHSEMANE AND GOLGOTHA

Matthew 26:36 Then cometh Jesus unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.  Gethsemane was a familiar place to Jesus and his disciples. They resorted there often. On that particular occasion(as recorded by Matthew,Mark and Luke and partially by John), they had finished the last supper together. Judas Iscariot had left the group earlier to conclude his plot to betray Jesus with the Jewish religious leaders. Judas must have known the plan and the group’s movement for the day and the rest of the night hours. The pressure was mounting high. Jesus Christ was undergoing the greatest struggle and conflict of his entire earthly life and ministry. He who did not commit any sin was chosen by his own voluntary will and the plan of God Almighty to lay down his life for the whole human race for all generations starting from Adam to the very last person that would be born into this world. In the master plan of God Almighty, Jesus Christ was to die. The supreme council in heaven concluded it before Jesus agreed to be born as a man through the virgin called Mary. The Archangel Gabriel told Mary that she would call her son Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sin. Jesus in coming to this world to die humbled himself to the lowest level imaginable! Here was the One through whom the whole world was made, submitting himself to his own creatures, to be treated as a criminal and killed in judgment by the highest form of punishment, which then was death by crucifixion. The status as God, being the Son of God, he put aside, as a mark of great humility. By being born as a human being, he humbled himself, him who was and is God, thus subjecting himself to the control and upbringing of earthly parents. By taking up the status of the suffering servant of God, he humbled himself! By agreeing to die for my sin and yours, he humbled himself! By subjecting himself to be made sin, he who was and is sinless, Jesus humbled himself. By subjecting himself to the worst type of death reserved for worst criminals, he humbled himself! It is easy for a person to die for a well-behaved person, but to die in the place of a criminal is relatively very difficult to do. To have yourself bear the sins and curses of the whole world in all generations is a conflict on its own. To have a person who is absolutely blameless accused as the worst of offenders is CONFLICT-MASTER-PIECE! Jesus Christ was on earth as the Son of God. He was on earth as Son of man (the Messiah). He was sinless. None of his accusers could justify their charges or accusations against him, until he confirmed to them in answer to their question that he was the Son of God. On that basis only, he was condemned to die. There were no corroborating evidences by any of the false witnesses at his trial, which was a mockery. The realization of this array of conflicts and illogical absurdities was most repulsive to the carnal mind. To the human flesh there was conflict and a struggle. Jesus Christ was perfectly human and perfectly God. Therefore, as human, his flesh naturally rejected the idea of a perfect man dying as though he were a criminal! As he knelt in Gethsemane on that fateful night, Jesus Christ prayed that the cup pass over him. By that he meant that he be excused from dying as a substitute; that he should not be treated as sin! However, may God be praised that Jesus did not stop there, but added: not my will, but your will be done. At that stage, the weak flesh was overcome, because Jesus submitted to the will of Almighty God! Then angels came to give him support and to strengthen him! The spiritual climate was so tense and difficult that the disciples, including the three inner-core, slept off, instead of watching and praying along with their Master, Jesus! Jesus came to inspect the disciples, but found them asleep on each of the three occasions. The spirit, indeed was willing, but the flesh was weak! It was a battle between God and Satan over the life and ministry of Jesus. It was shortly after Jesus Christ had the significant victory that Judas Iscariot arrived on the scene with the Jewish religious leaders, to have him arrested, tried and crucified. While praying, the agony and pressure was so much that sweat like drops of blood came forth from the body of Jesus. It was not mere coincidence that the scene for that great battle was Gethsemane. Situated on the Mount of Olives was this garden. There were olive trees on the Mount of Olives. There, olive oil was produced by the application of much physical pressure to express the oil contained in the fruit. It was therefore very significant that at Gethsemane, the place of the oil press, Jesus Christ was hard pressed to the extent that sweat and blood came from his body. If Jesus had not prevailed in agonizing prayer, by submitting to God Almighty, he would not have been able to proceed to Golgotha, where he gave himself to die on the cross. Jesus Christ gave himself before the foundation of the world. He gave himself at Christmas. He gave himself experientially at Gethsemane. He gave himself on the cross at Golgotha, Hallelujah!  For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16). There is life for a look at Jesus, who was crucified for you and for me! You are also advised to read the message posted on 1st March 2012, titled ‘Grace Upon Grace: All-sufficient Grace’. Call upon Jesus and ask him to save you, if you have not done so before. If you have gone astray from Jesus, now is the time to come back to him before he comes back, when it would be too late. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. God bless you.

THIS WORLD SYSTEM AND SAVING FAITH

This world and its lusts plus its corruption are soon passing away, but anyone who does the will of God abides forever. We are all advised not to put our lives’ hopes on worldly possessions, acquisitions, fleshly desires, pride and arrogance. The craze after sexual lusts and all forms of sexual perversions should be deleted from our lives. All forms of greed, drunkeness, gluttony, drunkeness with power, star-gazing,palmistry, reflexology, witchcraft, satanism and all forms of idolatory, should be got rid of out of our lives and society. Human body and life are precious in the sight of GOD , the MANUFACTURER! Therefore, all forms of bodily abuse,anti-semitism, racism, terrorism, and all forms of human oppression and abuse, should be discarded. There is no small or big error. There is no small or big sin! Sin is sin;no matter how big or small. Every form of disregard for the CREATOR is sin.Sin in any form, hidden, open, small,or big is punishable. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord(Romans 6.23). It is written: Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. II John 1.9. It is not a matter of religious debate.  This is the end time. This present world and its systems are coming to an end very soon!Reference to man in this message is referring to the entire human race and not to any gender. God made man perfectly in the begining and had regular fellowship with them. Man was given power and dominion to rule this Earth. However, man fell from his position by selling out to Lucifer who came deceitfully in the form of a snake(serpent). Man was specially made to live successfully on Earth. Lucifer(also commonly called the devil, Satan, prince of the power of the air)was originally made to live in Heaven, but because he committed high treason, he was cast down from Heaven and thus became a rebel and vagabond, having no settled place. Satan chose to disposess man from his privileged position by successfully tricking him to obey him while disobeying Almighty God. From that time in the Garden of Eden, the ways and life of mankind became corrupted, because Satan took a prolonged, but temporary control. After thousands of years of sending messages through many prophets, mankind was not truly repentant for their corrupted ways. A designed master plan was therefore unfolded by GOD. He decided to send His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, Who came as GOD in human flesh in order to rescue sinful mankind from sin and its consequences, which is death,(both spiritual death and physical death). As the only one born without the usual human conception, Jesus Christ did not share in the sinful nature of mankind. He was therefore qualified to be the true, one and only SIN-BEARER, for the entire human race, right from Adam to the last person who shall ever be born into this world; and that includes all of you reading this message. This is not a case of debate, argument or logic. This is a matter of great divine, present and eternal importance, put in place by the Almighty God ; MAKER of Heaven and Earth.  Anyone may argue or try to excuse or exonerate himself/herself, but that would not be tenable on the dreadful day of judgment, when GOD shall judge the secrets of the hearts of ALL PERSONS, by that MAN (Jesus Christ) chosen by HIM. The Almighty God gave this approval to Jesus Christ, by raising Him from death on the third day, after Jesus gave His life as a ransom for ALL HUMAN BEINGS. Jesus Christ was too holy for sin, sickness, death, hell and the devil to hold him down! Up from the grave He arose, with a mighty triumph over his foes. He arose , a victor from the dark domain! The blood of Jesus Christ was an offering made to blot away ALL sin. That blood forever speaks for mercy. However, EVERY PERSON needs to respond to the mercy of God shown through the shedding of the blood of the INNOCENT JESUS CHRIST, Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the whole world!  GOD would not wait indefintely for a person to repent and come to Him through trusting in Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it; but that the world, through him, might be saved (John 3:16-17). What happens if a person keeps on postponing the surrender of his/her life to GOD through Jesus Christ? He /she may die before doing so. Another person may suddenly become too sick to respond and ultimately die unsaved. Yet another, through arrogance or pride may delay this all-important decision of life and eventually end his life unsaved! Imagine a person who fell mistakenly into a 500 feet ditch. That person had a lifeline of a very strong cord let down to reach him. For such a person to be rescued, he /she must take hold of the lifeline, grasp it and follow any instruction given to him/her from above! That is a simple physical illustration. GOD ALMIGHTY has sent THE BEST LIFELINE (Jesus Christ) from Heaven above. It is written that if you confess Jesus Christ as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from death, you shall be saved. (Romans 10:9-10). The  wages of sin has been paid with the blood of Jesus Christ. Approval and confirmation for this fact is the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day. By his resurrection, God made Jesus Lord over all principality, power, might, dominion, and every name under the earth, on the earth and in the heavenly places. At the mention of the name of Jesus every knee must bow. Every tongue must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! This is not a matter of choice. Soon or later, the LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST over ALL the Earth shall be fully established, when He comes back as King of kings and Lord of lords! This is very imminent because the world system by its own disobedient will is already setting the stage for the LORD OF GLORY to take over. A false world government would soon come up, offering great economic and social solutions to world problems. That is of the Anti-christ.This would be short-lived. Then would come the true government ushering 1000-years reign of Jesus Christ, the MESSIAH. We shall treat this in greater detail soon. But before then; Come to Jesus today before it is too late. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. JESUS died and rose again for ALL human beings, but EACH person must call upon Jesus personally! Are you saved ? Then go on to give diligence to make your calling and election very sure. God bless you all.

ASPECTS OF THE GLORY OF GOD

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.  Psalms 19:1                                                                                                                 In the heavens we are able to locate the sun, moon, planets and the stars, which mankind describe as heavenly bodies. Air pilots view zones or layers of the firmament or skies when the aircrafts are fully airborne.Part of the works of God seen are the land formations of plains, hills, mountains, valleys, water falls, rivers and seas. How beautiful the various land forms are to behold! God has made all things very well and beautiful in their various locations. Many of these are not easy to describe with words than just to admire the handiworks of GOD ALMIGHTY in each of them.Who should not appreciate the great feat coupled with humility of the first spacemen to land upon the surface of the moon in 1969. They gave all glory to God and claimed they were able to feel the presence of God over there on the moon. Two of the three men who went actually walked on the moon surface. They came out of the Lunar Module, walked some distance and then went back inside it before returning back to the earth. The whole world and most especially the USA was ecstatic. The following description from ASTRONOMY TODAY speaks volumes, though it is no longer news: Apollo 11 was the first lunar-landing mission. Launched on July 16, 1969, the crew of Neil A. Armstrong, Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr., and Michael Collins flew the spacecraft Columbia (CSM) and Eagle (LM). On July 20, 1969, Armstrong and Aldrin landed the Eagle at the relatively flat and unobstructed Tranquillity site on the moon, while Collins remained in the CSM. The LM spent 21 hours 36 minutes on the lunar surface, and the crew spent 2 hours 31 minutes outside the LM in a local area excursion on foot to a distance of approximately 50 m (160 ft) from Tranquillity Base.                That was significant enough to set the pace for future lunar explorations and the rest of outer space.Recognition must also be given to the first man to orbit the earth,Yuri Gagarin of USSR,in April 1961. It is one thing to see the handiworks of God, yet it is another thing to appreciate such works and give the glory due to God,Maker of Heaven and Earth and the MANUFACTURER of all human beings! The Psalmist was very quick to appreciate God and his works. He said:When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet. Psalms 8:3-6. The power to have control over the earth and to dominate all other creatures was given by God to mankind. In spite of this fact of power given to mankind,God is not appreciated by many today. However, when difficult times come, or when disaster strikes the same category of people tend to lay blames on God!This should not be so. These are a few photo shots from the air: The goodness of God to mankind in elevating man so much should be reciprocated with loving, loyal, reverent and worshipful obedience. The photo shots are miniatures and virtually insignificant aspects of the greater revelations of the glory of God from the wider outer space!

MEDITATION: Thinking of You – ‘An Ambassador’

2 Corinthians 5:20-21: Ambassadors For Christ: So, You are an ambassador? An ambassador indeed, simply because of what God Almighty, through Jesus Christ has done. For God has made Jesus to be sin for you and me. He never knew sin, never committed any sin. He was even bold enough to face his accusers and ask them; Which one of them could really convince him that he had committed any sin?No one was able, yet he was falsely arrested, accused, tried, beaten, mocked and crucified. Within the space of less than 24 hours all these treatments were given to him. He suffered injustice and the mockery of an illegal trial, which condemned him to die as though he were the worst offender. He died alongside condemned, hardened criminals. He was sensitive enough to hear the inward heart-cry of one of the thieves dying beside him! Because that theif repented at the last passing moments of his life Jesus forgave him. Though the thief was not pardoned by the laws of the land, he obtained the full pardon of heaven, through Jesus Christ. Jesus had on his mind and spirit the souls of everyone born and ever yet to be born into this world in all lands and throughout  all generations! Jesus thought about you and me in particular. Jesus Who knew no sin, was made sin. That meant He tasted death for every human being. The Bible declares that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord(Romans 6:23). Jesus paid the price that sin demanded with his life blood shed on the cross. The life of a person is contained in his blood. When blood flows through our hearts and blood vessels that is an indication of life still existing. When blood is shed, the life goes with it and the person dies. Jesus therefore gave his life as a ransom paid to rescue every human individual from spiritual and eternal death. The Bible declares: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all(Isaiah 53:5-6). Jesus died for our sins on the cross, he was buried in a donated tomb, not borrowed. He rose up from the grave on the third day, just as the Holy Scriptures foretold. God does not condemn any person for his /her sins. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that through him the world might be saved(John 3:17). The good news is this: That God offers full pardon to all, because of what Christ did on the cross and rose again. God is no more angry at you, because He had visited His full anger through judgment upon Jesus Christ, His Son, who surrendered to become our substitute; our sin-bearer and our ransom. As a result of the pleasing sacrifice made  by Jesus during which he fulfilled the standard of the law of God by his death on the cross, we are declared not guilty by God, basically. The taste of the pudding is in the eating. Every person ought to claim the priviledged benefit of the sacrificial, substitutionary death of Jesus. God gave his approval by raising Jesus from the grave on the third day.  The word of God declares that if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess him as Lord with your mouth, you shall be saved.  For with the heart a person believes, fully trusting in and relying on Christ and so is justified and made acceptable to GOD. With the mouth, the person confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord and he is saved. Through Jesus Christ, peace was made with Almighty God by his blood which he volunteered to be shed on the cross. The whole of the human race has  eversince been reconciled to God. Everybody ought to hear and know this good news personally. The blood of Jesus so shed, has present and everlasting power to wash each trusting person from sin. Each trusting or believing person is given power to live to please God. His or her past has been forgiven, he or she has been given power to become a child of God. A new life has begun. The power of God is given not on merit or because a person has done particularly well. It is by virtue of the mercy of God. It is called grace. By the influence of the Holy Spirit, the apostle Paul wrote: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them(Ephesisns 2:8-10).  Each believing Christian is a workmanship of God; that is, the handiwork of God. Each one as such is created in Christ Jesus. It is a brand new creation. We were former antagonists of God because we shifted our allegiance from Him to Satan. Through Christ, however, we became transformed. Henceforth, our lives are being enabled to please God. It is written:Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;behold, all things are become new(2 Corinthians 5:17).  Having become beneficiaries of the peace made with God and become reconclied to him, every believing Christian is sent to take and share this good news with any person who would listen. Every Christian is a representative of Christ equiped with the word and message of reconciliation. TELL, URGE, INVITE people everywhere to come to experience the same reconciliation we have experienced. Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). An ambassador goes out with delegated authority. He / she goes out with words of commission- THE MARCHING ORDERS. He has been thoroughly briefed-his FEET SHOD WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE.He also has Divine cover and protection.GOD is our refuge and strength; a very present help in trouble. Therefore we shall not fear, because GOD is with us. We go taking the whole armour of God with us. This is not carnal or physical armour, but the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said: And Lo, I am with you alway, unto the ends of the world (Matthew 28:20)! The power and might of the Kingdom of Heaven is behind us and gone ahead of us.       Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ stead, be ye reconciled to God(2 Corinthians 5:20). Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
